    On behalf of the Mechanisms Committee (CMC) of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (CMES), we are delight to invite you to attend and make contribution to The International Mechanisms and Machine Science Conference, China 2008 (CCMMS 2008) in Dalian, China. This conference is scheduled to be held during July 28-31, 2008.
    The objective of this conference is to provide a forum for researchers and engineers from all over the world to exchange up-to-date ideas and opinions on current researches in the field of mechanisms and machine science. Authors and presenters are invited to participate in this event to expand international cooperation, understanding and promotion of efforts and disciplines in this field. Dissemination of knowledge by presenting research results, new developments, and novel concepts in mechanisms and machine science will serve as the foundation upon which the conference program will be developed. In addition to provide information on worldwide research, it is also our intention to establish broader connections with the researchers in mechanisms and machine science and related areas from different parts of the world.
    The conference on mechanisms and machine science is organized by CMC-CMES, IFToMM and one hosting university every two years at different places in China. The sixteenth Symposium is hosted by Yanshan University and Dalian University of Technology in Dalian. Dalian is a beautiful seaside city in China. Located at the beach of Yellow Sea, We are looking forward to meeting you in Dalian this July.
